D.U.K.
What routes do you recommend for beginners or people kayaking with small children?

For those who are just starting out with kayaking or planning trips with small children, we recommend choosing calm, low-flow water bodies without major obstacles. For example, lakes, Žeimena, Neris, etc. are suitable.

Do you provide maps and life jackets, or is there an additional charge for them?

Before the trip, we provide maps, detailed route descriptions, and life jackets free of charge. We recommend that parents with children up to 3-4 years of age provide personal life jackets for their offspring.

How long before the trip should kayak be reserved?

We recommend booking kayak and other tourist equipment as early as possible to ensure the availability of the desired equipment.

Where is it better to sit in a kayak - in the front or back?

When kayaking in a two-seater kayak, it’s important to consider the composition of the crew. For individuals of different physical builds, it’s advisable to seat the heavier member at the back of the kayak, as this ensures easier control. If the crew consists of individuals of different genders, typically, the man sits at the back, and children – at the front. Remember, the person sitting at the back of the kayak performs the rowing and steering functions, while the person at the front assists, so the choice of seats should match the crew’s abilities and kayaking strategy.

Are paddles provided?

Yes, paddles are provided to all customers completely free of charge =)
