Book a kayak trip

The Splyvem! team invites you to an interesting water journey by kayak through the most beautiful places in Lithuania!

Žeimena – the river is a right tributary of the Neris, known in Aukštaitija as the “mother of rivers”. The water here is so clear that you can see the underwater world beneath the water. From aboard the kayak you will see meadows, pine forests, sandy cliffs and small villages.

Merkys – this river will give you a wonderful day of rest with pleasant impressions.
It will please you with its beauty and will not let you get bored. On the river you will come across an old stone railroad bridge, a wildlife crossing ford, and small fords. Along the way there are convenient places where you can stop and organize a small picnic in the nature.

Šalcha – unusual views and beautiful landscapes, fascinating with their mystery, wonderful rest and great mood – that’s what awaits you on a trip along this river. On this route you can order a real village bath and have a great steam after rafting!

By choosing a two-day canoe trip, you choose not only active recreation and adventure, but also the opportunity to breathe fresh air, discover the beauty of nature and spend time with loved ones. This is an experience that is not valued in kilometers, but in memories that will stay with you for a long time.

F.A.Q.
Do you provide maps and life jackets, or is there an additional charge for them?

Before departure, we provide maps, a detailed route description, and life jackets free of charge. We recommend that parents of children under 3-4 years of age provide personal life jackets for their little ones.

Where is it better to sit in the kayak - in the front or in the back?

When paddling a two-person kayak, it’s important to consider the composition of the crew. For individuals of different physical builds, it’s advisable to seat the heavier member at the back of the kayak, as this ensures easier handling. If the crew consists of individuals of different genders, typically, the man sits in the back, and children in the front. Remember, the person sitting in the back performs the paddling and steering functions, while the person in the front assists, so the choice of seats should match the crew’s abilities and paddling strategy.
